Ready to elevate your DEI knowledge in a supportive environment? We’re excited to announce our new series – DEI Chats! 

Dive into vibrant discussions with fellow communication professionals as we learn from one another in virtual, small group chats with support from our facilitator, Candee Wolf, APR.

We will engage in questions that are crucial for building cultural understanding and breaking down barriers to diversity, equity and inclusion in our industry. 

During this session, we will:

• Reflect on when and how we first became aware of cultural groups* different from our own.
  
• Share experiences of a time when we were part of a group that was not in the majority.
  
• Explore rewarding and challenging interactions with people from different cultural groups and examine how we grew from these experiences.
  

*A cultural group is defined simply as a collection of people who share a set of beliefs, behaviors or values. You may identify with many cultural groups based on your age, gender, abilities, religion, race, sexual orientation, politics, socioeconomic status and more.

The DEI Chats series is free for Minnesota PRSA members and students and $10 for non-members. Register now!

Candee Wolf, APR
Candee is a current member of Minnesota PRSA’s DEI Committee and is a past President and Ethics Officer for the Chapter. Her work as Co-Chair of the 2022 PRSA Midwest District Conference contributed to Minnesota PRSA’s first-place selection in the national 2023 PRSA DEI Chapter Awards.
