Bridging the Ethics Skills Divide

About this event

Featuring National Researcher, Marlene Neill, Ph.D., APR, Fellow PRSA

Increasingly, ethical dilemmas and the leadership skills to navigate them dictate the direction of brands, organizations – and careers. Marlene has the ethical “insider information” – with her recently published research revealing a wide variety of ethical issues facing public relations professionals, as well as a corresponding gap in professional skills around ethical issues.

Marlene is coming to the Twin Cities for a one-time engagement:
  • Come learn emerging ethical issues uncovered by Marlene
  • Assess your own mastery of these core ethics skills, and
  • Discuss strategies for building ethical skills in our practice of public relations and communications disciplines
Marlene’s travel is sponsored by Jim Lukaszewski, ABC, Fellow IABC; APR, Fellow PRSA; PRSA BEPS Emeritus 2015; and his www.e911.com leadership recovery communications resources, including FREE, his extensive writings on critical leadership and ethics topics – his 15th book, Influencing Leaders, comes out this Fall. Jim is an ethicist who has served on the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards (BEPS) for more than 30 years.

Prior to the event (whether you plan to register or not), we request that you complete this brief survey to assess your own level of ethical knowledge as well as that of PR practitioners in general. Marlene will use the data collected to compare to some of her national research during the presentation. The survey deadline is end of day, Monday, Sept. 16.
