Session Title: The Real Scoop on Agency Life
Speaker: W2O Group
Session Description: While the fundamentals of a job in PR may be the same, the pace, environment and types of work can vary dramatically depending on the type of organization where you land your first job. In this session, Becky Prosser (class of 2015) and Hannah Byl (class of 2019) will share their own work experiences and thoughts on an agency-first career path compared to corporate and non-profit career opportunities.
Session Title: How to Unleash Your Creativity
Speaker: Laura Leopold, Stantec
Session Description: Creativity. Your company and clients demand it no matter your role in marketing communications. But how do you keep those creative juices flowing when you’re exhausted from creating your third media list for the day, can’t stop reading news about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and your evening happy hour plans are right around the corner? In this session, we’ll discuss how to push through a creative block, where to find inspiration, and dissect a couple creative case studies.
