About this event

The construct of work-based “jobs” has its roots in the Industrial Revolution. Needless to say, the world has changed since then – not the least in both the place and the way we work.

Today, the workplace is dramatically evolving to foster better, faster, stronger productivity and creativity. From shared enclaves and flexible project bars to the traditional office, the physical space where we collaborate varies widely. And, as professionals, we could be in-office or remote or a telecommuter; the different ways we work have grown exponentially over the last decade.

Navigating changing work environments has implications both as we experience new ways of working as well as support the same changes as communicators, e.g. change communications. The challenges of communicating across differences – ages, workstyles, personalities – is as present in a new or open workplace as it is in channels and tools.

In this Career Coffee, we’ll come together to learn more about the changes and the power behind people coming together in evolving workspaces. Hear from our experts as they share research, business and employer perspectives as well as insights into what employees are seeking in a workspace today.

Regardless of whether you work at an agency or corporation or are a solo-preneur, learn more about the dynamics at play, and how you can use them best to move your own work forward. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions and get advice from our experts as well as fellow attendees.

Breakfast treats included thanks to co-hosts, Life Time Works and Pineapple RM.

The Career Coffee series is free to Minnesota PRSA members. Guests are welcome. Space is limited in order to support the interactive nature of the discussion. Register today!
