Our Newest Normal

Summer is winding down; the kids have headed back to school (yeah!) and hints of fall are already in the air.

Here at Minnesota PRSA, our Chapter leaders, committees and partners are working hard to continue delivering the programs, value and connections that make our organization special. We have a slate of fantastic upcoming events. Attend our Sept. 29 Ethics event"Do Brands Need Ethics? How to build ethics and values into your brand," moderated by our Ethics Officer Candee Wolf and featuring:

  • Anna White Lovely, APR, VP Global Communications, Cargill
  • Jeff Shelman, SVP, Head of Enterprise External Communication, U.S. Bank
  • Bao Vang, Vice President of Communications, Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota
  • Ayme Zemke, APR, EVP, Client Service, Beehive Strategic Communication.

This is also our first hybrid event providing a safe, in-person opportunity as well as a virtual option. We are excited to bring PRSA programs to our members in a way that best serves your needs and anticipate this will be our newest normal – watching programming live in person, virtually or on-demand accessible at our storefront.

Stay tuned for more information about our annual October Diversity & Inclusion event; our November program, which is a part 2 of our February program about Covid, stress and burnout (sadly, still timely); and our final Career Coffee program of the year on Nov. 12: Going Solo – Thriving as an Independent Consultant.

We’ll cap off the year at our Annual Meeting in early December, which we hope to conduct also as a hybrid event.

Our members are our lifeblood and we like to hear from you. Please connect with me or any member of our Board of Directors with suggestions, ideas or concerns.

Thank you for your continued support of and commitment to Minnesota PRSA.

Jennifer Bagdade, APR
2021 President, Minnesota PRSA
